The Christmas Torches

In 2025, the Christmas Torches were the central event of a particularly rich holiday calendar, extending from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026. On Christmas Eve, the Amiata village lit up with its fire pyramids reaching up to seven meters, ignited in all districts starting from the 6:00 PM ceremony in front of the Town Hall.

Among the highlights of the 2025 program: the December 21 Gospel concert in the Abbey with the Sisters & Brothers Gospel Choir Ensemble and Carla Jane; on December 23, at 9:00 PM, the Grand Christmas Gala at the Cinema Teatro Amiata with the Arcadia Wind Orchestra. New features for the year included artistic lighting of the Abbey and Town Hall, itinerant street bands, and a local producers' market set up in the cellars of the historic center.
