Edition 2025 — The Cherry Jewel of Mount Etna

The 15th edition of "The Cherry, Jewel of Mount Etna" took place in Sant'Alfio on July 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2025, the year the festival obtained the UNPLI "Quality Festival" label. Three days featuring the Infiorata, markets of typical products, visits to cherry orchards, tastings of Etna PDO Cherry risotto, folk performances, concerts, and cabaret, with the Etna PDO Cherry as the absolute protagonist.

The 15th edition of the "The Cherry, Jewel of Mount Etna" festival was held in Sant'Alfio from July 4th to 6th, 2025, an edition that saw the event awarded the "Quality Festival" recognition by the UNPLI.

The program opened on Friday, July 4th, with the setup of the Infiorata on Via Coviello and Via Pirandello, the opening of the typical products market in Piazza Duomo, street food, and 70s and 80s live music. Saturday, July 5th, featured guided tours, the official inauguration, the performance of the folk group "I 3 Castagni dell'Etna", technical wine and dish tastings curated by ONAV Masters, the tasting of the Etna PDO Cherry risotto, and the concert of the Banda Blasco. On Sunday, July 6th, amidst walks through the cherry trees, visits to farms, and jam tastings, the festival concluded with a cabaret show by Sasà Salvaggio.

Fri 4/7: Infiorata setup (Via Coviello and Via Pirandello), typical products market opening (Piazza Duomo), street food, 70s/80s music. Sat 5/7: market and guided tours, official inauguration, folk group "I 3 Castagni dell'Etna", ONAV wine and dish tasting, Etna PDO Cherry risotto tasting, Banda Blasco concert. Sun 6/7: walk through the cherry trees and guided tours, farm visit with jam tasting, cabaret show by Sasà Salvaggio.
