Thanksgiving Festival 2025

The 17th edition of the Introdacqua Thanksgiving Festival was held on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November 2025. The Saturday evening preview in the Montanarintro area featured specialties such as "pizza fritta infornata" (baked fried pizza) and "peperoni ammolliti e fiordilatte" (softened peppers with fresh mozzarella).

The main event on Sunday opened at 9:00 with a gathering in Piazza Cavour, followed at 9:30 by the "From Valley to Valley" hike through the woods. From 11:30, the exhibition stands for crafts, vintage photos, and agricultural products opened, while from 12:30, the food stalls served the traditional Abruzzese menu: legume soup, polenta with vegetables, chitarrina alla matriciana, pork rinds and beans, arrosticini, fried pizzas, and local desserts. Organized by the Associazione Culturale Futura with the patronage of the Municipality of Introdacqua, the festival confirmed its plastic-free formula with a token system and the active involvement of new residents in its organization.
