The Beer Festival in Testaccio in 2025

The Città dell'Altra Economia, in the Campo Boario of the Ex Mattatoio, has become one of the go-to venues in Rome for beer-related events. In 2025, the spring and summer calendar of the Testaccio district confirmed this vocation, with open-air days built around tasting, street food, and live music.

The format is the one that has ensured the event's success: stands dedicated to the main European brewing traditions alongside Italian craft productions, a large gastronomic area, and a stage with concerts and DJ sets in the evening hours. Free admission and the central location, just a short walk from Ostiense station and the Piramide metro B stop, made the event easily accessible to a very diverse audience.

For the Municipality of Rome and for Lazio, these events also represent a piece of the broader cultural regeneration project for the Ex Mattatoio spaces, returned to the city as places for meeting and socializing.
