Terre Mascagnane

The 2025 edition of Terre Mascagnane in Bibbona took place on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 9:30 PM in Piazza della Vittoria with the musical reading "Quel giorno capì che doveva volare", subtitled "From the herb square to the world: birth of a composer". The show, with dramaturgy by Marco Conte, featured Marco Conte (actor), Claire Nesti (soprano), Tommaso Martinelli (tenor), and Massimo Salotti (piano), accompanied by the Ensemble of the Teatro Goldoni Orchestra of Livorno conducted by Maurizio Preziosi. A free evening that alternated narration and music, emotion and irony, memory and dream, telling the story of Pietro Mascagni's birth in the heart of the coastal Tuscany, in the province of Livorno.
