Edition 2025 — Terra!

The second edition of Terra!, the national festival of the Green and Left Alliance, took place in Rome from September 3 to 7, 2025, at the MONK cultural center on Via Giuseppe Mirri. Five days of debates, book presentations, concerts, and shows, with free admission, dedicated to the environment, social rights, peace, and climate justice.

Terra! 2025 at MONK in Rome

The second National Festival of the Green and Left Alliance was held in Rome from September 3 to 7, 2025, at the MONK cultural center in the Casal Bertone-Portonaccio district. Five days of meetings, debates, book presentations, concerts, and shows, with a dining area, bookshop, and children's area, all with free admission.

Among the most anticipated moments was the opening meeting Terra Comune on Wednesday, September 3, featuring Angelo Bonelli, Giuseppe Conte, Nicola Fratoianni, and Elly Schlein, moderated by Massimo Giannini. Throughout the event, speakers included Francesca Albanese, Nichi Vendola, Leoluca Orlando, Luisa Morgantini, and Mustafa Barghouti, with debates on the environment, healthcare, human rights, solidarity economy, and LGBTQ+ rights. The meetings were accompanied by the photography exhibition Nel mirino della memoria by Gianluca Costantini and free evening concerts.

Programme

Wednesday, September 3: Opening and Terra Comune meeting with Bonelli, Conte, Fratoianni, and Schlein (moderated by Massimo Giannini). Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5: Debates on economy, healthcare, human rights, and the Palestinian issue, with guests such as Francesca Albanese, Luisa Morgantini, and Mustafa Barghouti. Saturday, September 6: Assemblies on solidarity economy, LGBTQ+ rights, artificial intelligence, and labor, with Nichi Vendola and Leoluca Orlando. Sunday, September 7: Round tables on Southern Italy, democracy, and the future. Every evening featured free concerts and shows; throughout the event, a photography exhibition, bookshop, children's area, and dining area were available.
