Edition 2025 — Terra di Vini
The 2025 debut
The first edition of Terra di Vini – Sicilian Wine Expo was held on September 19 and 20, 2025, on the Terrazza Mercadante at the Capo d'Orlando marina, bringing together over 120 Sicilian wineries for a tasting journey dedicated to the island's oenological diversity.
Friday, September 19, opened with the inaugural ceremony and the talk "Wines of Sicily: An Important Tourism Driver," followed by the Assovini Sicilia masterclass "Around the Island, One Glass at a Time" featuring eight wines, a show cooking session by chefs Gaia and Licia Campisi, and a concert by Anna Castiglia. Saturday, September 20, featured a round table on wine tourism, the Consorzio DOC Sicilia masterclass on Grillo, Lucido, and Nero d'Avola, a show cooking session by chef Maria Carlotta Andreacchio, and a concert by Kokomò.
The initiative, supported by the Regional Department of Agriculture with the involvement of Assovini Sicilia and the Consorzio di tutela vini DOC Sicilia, concluded with positive results, laying the foundation for an annual event in Capo d'Orlando.
