Tendopoli 2025: "Mercy has become a tent"

The 45th edition of the Tendopoli di San Gabriele was held from August 9 to 13, 2025, at the Sanctuary of San Gabriele dell'Addolorata, in the municipality of Isola del Gran Sasso d'Italia, in the province of Teramo. The theme chosen for the edition, "Mercy has become a tent," guided the reflections of the days, dedicated to mercy as a concrete life experience.

The gathering saw the arrival of the traditional Torch of Hope, carried in a relay race by runners to the Sanctuary, and featured talks, testimonies, moments of solitude and reconciliation, evening concerts, and the nocturnal Via Crucis. The final day on August 13, with the Youth Festival and the pilgrimage on foot from Isola to San Gabriele, concluded with the Holy Mass presided over by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, which drew thousands of participants. An edition that confirmed the Tendopoli as a nationally renowned event for young people in Abruzzo.
