Teatro Massimo City of Syracuse Theatrical Season

The 2024/25 Season of the Teatro Massimo City of Syracuse represented one of the most extensive programs in the recent history of the Ortigia theater. The schedule was divided into five sections: ten traditional drama performances, ten events in the #NewTheater section, six Civil Theater shows, to which were added Children's Theater and the women's section Parola d'Attrice.

The curtain rose on October 24, 2024, with The Jar ('A Giarra) by Luigi Pirandello, performed by the great Sicilian actor Tuccio Musumeci. The season continued until the spring of 2025, confirming the role of the municipal theater of Syracuse as a reference point for drama in south-eastern Sicily.
