Teatro Andromeda - Solstice of Peace

On Saturday, 21 June 2025, the Teatro Andromeda in Santo Stefano Quisquina hosted the Solstice of Peace, in an edition still animated by the presence of its creator Lorenzo Reina.

The evening was divided into two parts. On the theatre's outdoor stage, at 6:00 PM, the performance of the Sicilian singer-songwriter Miele, an intense voice blending rock, blues, and singer-songwriter style, was followed at 7:15 PM by the Schola Cantorum Quisquinae choir. In the second part, in Piazza San Giordano Ansalone, as sunset approached, Ginevra Gilli, a harpist and singer, performed with a repertoire spanning classical, Celtic, and traditional music, accompanying the POLARIS installation by Lorenzo Reina.

The common thread, summarised by the event's motto - "the Sun enters the mouth of the Image and becomes words of light" - was fulfilled in the solstice phenomenon at sunset in the Sicani Mountains.
