Edition 2025 — Teatri di Vetro

The 2025 edition of Teatri di Vetro, reaching its nineteenth year, took place in Rome from 6 to 18 December under the title "The stage as a stronghold of practice and thought." Directed by Roberta Nicolai for Triangolo Scaleno Teatro, the festival spanned multiple city venues, from Teatro del Lido di Ostia and Spazio Rossellini to Teatro India, featuring performances, contemporary dance, digital residencies, and study sessions with free admission.

Teatri di Vetro 2025 — a stronghold of practice and thought

The nineteenth year of Teatri di Vetro was held in Rome from 6 to 18 December 2025, under the artistic direction of Roberta Nicolai. The theme "The stage as a stronghold of practice and thought" turned the stage into a laboratory and a ground for experimentation, where artistic practices intertwined with theoretical reflection.

The festival was divided into several stages: the Composizioni section at Teatro del Lido di Ostia, the Open Feedback and Residenze Digitali events at Spazio Rossellini, and the central Oscillazioni section at Teatro India from 16 to 18 December. Artists involved included, among others, Fabiana Iacozzilli, Linda Dalisi, Lucia Guarino, Andrea Cosentino, Simona Lobefaro, Lorenzo Giansante, and the company Bartolini/Baronio. All events were free of charge with recommended booking.

Programme

Composizioni (6 December, Teatro del Lido di Ostia): participatory projects and urban interventions. Open Feedback and Residenze Digitali (11 and 13 December, Spazio Rossellini): digital creation projects and dialogue with the public. Oscillazioni (16-18 December, Teatro India): central section featuring the presentation of artistic processes by national authors, including Fabiana Iacozzilli, Linda Dalisi, Lucia Guarino, Andrea Cosentino, Simona Lobefaro, and Lorenzo Giansante.
