Teatri d'Arrembaggio 2025: ten years in Ostia

The 2025 edition of Teatri d'Arrembaggio celebrated the tenth anniversary of the festival, staged at the Teatro del Lido di Ostia from July 11th to August 3rd. The three sections Piraterie, InCanti, and Castelli di Sabbia were confirmed, with an entirely free program.

As per tradition, Fridays were dedicated to off-theatre, with texts by authors such as Mattia Torre and Massimiliano Bruno, and a look at the 1950s variety scene with a Burlesque Comedy Show. The 2025 program, with a strongly intercultural approach, addressed themes such as racism, labor, and the intersection of cultures and traditions. The InCanti section, on Sunday evenings, hosted the best of national children's theatre. The festival, conceived by Valdrada and promoted by Roma Capitale, confirmed its popular and inclusive vocation on the coast of the Municipality of Rome.
