Edition 2025 — Canederli in Piazza in Tavon
In 2025, "Canederli in piazza" once again enlivened Shrove Tuesday in Tavon di Predaia, in the heart of Val di Non. The Youth Group distributed canederli, sauerkraut, and scodegin in Piazza di Tavon accompanied by music, with the day continuing in the village's open cellars: an event that repeats every year and closes the Trentino Carnival in the spirit of tradition and conviviality.
In 2025, the village of Tavon, a hamlet of the Municipality of Predaia in Val di Non, confirmed the tradition of "Canederli in piazza" for Shrove Tuesday. In Piazza di Tavon, the Youth Group distributed canederli, sauerkraut, and scodegin accompanied by music, before the party moved to the open cellars of the village. A popular and genuine event, among the most heartfelt of the Val di Non Carnival in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
