Tavolata di San Giuseppe

2025 Edition

In March 2025, the community of Aidone, in the province of Enna, renewed the appointment with the Tavolata di San Giuseppe. Thanks to the efforts of a group of members and supporters of the Pro Loco Aidone-Morgantina, and with the collaboration of a large part of the population, the grand community table was set up in memory of the ancient tradition of preparing a sacred meal to offer to the poor.

The tasting of the blessed bread and traditional dishes began at noon on March 19, following religious celebrations in the Church of San Giuseppe, confirming the village's loyalty to a popular tradition deeply rooted in the Aidone territory.
