Edition 2025 — Taurisano Living Nativity

The 2025 edition of the Taurisano Living Nativity animated the historic center during the holidays, with openings on December 25 and 28, and then January 1, 4, and 6, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Among the ancient Lecce stone houses, over a hundred performers brought traditional Salento crafts to life, offering visitors tastings of pittule, purciddruzzi, and local wine. The grand finale of Epiphany featured the arrival of the Three Wise Men and various artistic performances.

The 2025 Living Nativity

The performance spanned the entire Christmas period, with the historic center of Taurisano illuminated and animated by performers on the evenings of December 25 and 28, 2025, and then January 1, 4, and 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The ancient courtyards and Lecce stone houses hosted nativity scenes and traditional crafts: stone carving, pottery, wrought iron, sewing, and weaving.

There was no shortage of tastings of typical Salento products, from pittule to purciddruzzi, accompanied by local wine. On January 6th, the day of Epiphany, the event concluded with the long-awaited arrival of the Three Wise Men and musical performances, including the participation of violinist Vittorio Ciurlia and the gymnasts of the Colibrì Association, sealing a festival deeply felt by the community.
