Taurisano Carnival 2025

The Taurisano Carnival 2025 was held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, a make-up date set after the original parade was postponed due to bad weather. The heart of the festival was once again the Geni…Tori Laboriosi group, active since 2018, which animated the town center streets with over two hundred participants from more than one hundred families.

The theme chosen for the edition, "80 Voglia di… Non Crescere!", paid homage to the eighties through four sub-groups dedicated to leisure, entertainment, music, and creativity, featuring cartoons, video games, aerobics, television shows, and the street art of the era. The allegorical float, built with recycled materials, brought symbols and characters of the decade to the streets with a strong sense of nostalgia and a touch of irony.

The parade of floats and masked groups confirmed the Taurisano Carnival as one of the most popular festivals in lower Salento, in the province of Lecce, capable of involving the entire community of the town.
