Taurano Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Taurano Carnival was held in Taurano, in the province of Avellino, on Sunday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with activities starting at 3:00 PM on both days and meeting in the town's historic center.

The program featured dances, music, and costumes of the local tradition with the aim of rediscovering the customs that characterized the carnivals of the past. The protagonists were the town's two historic dances: the quadrille, performed by twelve couples and linked to the French presence of 1799, and the ribbon dance, the dance around the pole with twenty-four colored ribbons held by twelve dancers. Children, young people, and married couples from Taurano took part in the performances, alongside the representation of the months of the year.

The event, with free admission and accessible to all, was organized by Pro Loco Taurano in collaboration with the municipal administration.
