Talami Festival

In 2025, the Talami Festival of Orsogna celebrated a special anniversary: thirty years since the founding of the Talami Cultural Association. The edition, held on Easter Tuesday, saw the seven living biblical tableaux depart around noon from their respective districts to converge in Piazza Mazzini, accompanied by the Marian hymn played by the Banda Sarabanda of Orsogna. To celebrate the milestone, the association organized a thematic exhibition and a dedicated philatelic cancellation. The event, which has its roots in the 16th century and the ancient parade of the Confraternity of the Paolotti, confirmed its nature as a community ritual that unites sacred theater, art, and popular devotion in the municipality of Orsogna, Abruzzo.
