Edition 2025 — Tage der Romanik
In 2025, the Tage der Romanik at Castel Tirolo were held on Saturday, October 11th, and Sunday, October 12th. On that occasion, the museum offered free guided tours in German at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM, without reservation, to accompany visitors in discovering the 12th-century marble portals and the castle's Romanesque art.
The edition was part of the wider event along the Alpine Straße der Romanik, which every year connects about thirty Romanesque monuments—churches, chapels, and castles—distributed between the Vinschgau Valley, the rest of South Tyrol, the Carolingian monastery of Müstair in Switzerland, and areas of Trentino, allowing visitors to discover a medieval heritage that is otherwise rarely accessible in just one weekend.
