T'Angurriata Rossa

In the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula summer, T'Angurriata Rossa returned to Meta on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, for its thirteenth edition, once again in Piazza Casale and once again organized by the Pro Loco Terra delle Sirene.

The formula is one the town knows by heart: the exhibition of carved watermelons as a backdrop, watermelon games for the little ones, music and entertainment in the square until late at night, and, of course, slices of watermelon to share with whoever happens to be there. All with free admission, as per tradition.

The evening confirmed the event's role in Meta's summer calendar, nestled between Ferragosto and the other events organized by the Pro Loco throughout the year, from Pizza d'aMare in the spring to Meta Mare in Festa in September.

The date of the thirteenth edition was made public — Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Piazza Casale in Meta — while the detailed schedule and the list of guests were not published online in full.
