Edition 2025 — Wild Boar Festival

The 57th edition of the Suvereto Wild Boar Festival took place on Sunday, November 30, and during the Immaculate Conception weekend, December 7-8, 2025. The ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 AM on November 30 saw the participation of Mayor Jessica Pasquini and Pro Loco President Chiara Nocera, accompanied by the Puccini Philharmonic. Three days of gastronomy, music, and tradition in the medieval village of Val di Cornia.

The 2025 Edition

The 57th Suvereto Wild Boar Festival brought the historic center to life on November 30 and December 7-8, 2025. The opening Sunday featured a rich program: the "Pedalando per la Sagra" cycling event at 8:00 AM, a horseback ride with a visit to the Gualdo del Re winery at 9:00 AM, the opening of stalls and exhibitions at 10:00 AM, and a guided tour of the village starting at 11:00 AM from Piazza Vittorio Veneto.

The heart of the festival was the large fire in Piazza D'Annunzio, serving polenta and grilled meat, while the Ghibellino indoor restaurant service opened in the evening. Musical performances included roaming bands, Trio Libero, the Dreamland Voices, and the folk music of Terraticanti, for a festival that reaffirmed its deep connection to the flavors and traditions of the Maremma.
