Edition 2025 — Sutera Living Nativity

For the 2024-2025 holiday season, the Rabato district of Sutera once again hosted the Living Nativity, featuring the re-enactment of the Nativity and the ancient trades of rural Sicily. Hundreds of costumed participants brought the alleys of the village to life with warm lights, nostalgic sounds, nativity music, and tastings of local products, confirming the event as one of the most anticipated appointments of the Sicilian Christmas.

During the 2024-2025 holiday edition, the Sutera Living Nativity renewed the tradition that, since 2005, has earned it a place in the Intangible Heritage Registry of the Sicily Region. In the Arab Rabato district, participants brought the Nativity and scenes of ancient trades to life, accompanied by tastings of typical Sutera products and the music of nativity singers.

As every year, the event drew thousands of visitors to Sutera, in the heart of the province of Caltanissetta, confirming the event's role as one of the most well-known Christmas re-enactments in all of Sicily.
