The fifteenth edition

On August 12, 2025, Sassinoro hosted the 15th edition of Suoni e Sapori, the summer festival that combines music and gastronomy in the historic center of this small town in the Province of Benevento. The start was set for 8:00 PM: as evening fell, the town came alive along the entire route of the stalls.

Flavors and music along the alleys

The gastronomic stations, set up in the characteristic streets of the village, offered traditional dishes carefully prepared according to local custom, while local artists and musicians accompanied the stroll with live performances diffused throughout the corners of the historic center.

The emigration exhibition

The evening of August 12 also hosted an exhibition dedicated to the history of emigration from Sassinoro, set up at Vico del Gaudio along the gastronomic route. The initiative was promoted by the National Association of Emigrant Families, provincial section of Benevento, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Sassinoro, presided over by Giovanni Apollonio.

A community celebration

As per tradition, the organization was handled by the Pro Loco together with the municipal administration, the youth forum, and local associations, confirming Suoni e Sapori as the most attended event of the Sassinoro summer.
