Suoni dal Monviso - Closing Event in Saluzzo

The 2025 edition of Suoni dal Monviso, the twenty-first, chose the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Saluzzo for its inaugural concert on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 9:00 PM.

The absolute star was Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, performed by an orchestra of about seventy musicians and a choir of over one hundred and fifty voices. Alongside the Polifonici del Marchesato, organizers and performers, other local choral groups and young instrumentalists from the Ghedini Conservatory of Cuneo took part. The concert inaugurated a calendar spread across the Cuneo valleys, as part of the Suoni delle Terre del Monviso project, born from the collaboration with the Occit'amo Festival and the Amleto Bertoni Foundation.
