Summer Evenings at the Castle

In the summer of 2025, the Summer Evenings at the Castle festival kicked off on July 1st at the Castello Dentice di Frasso in Carovigno, with evening openings and a program spread across the months of July, August, and September.

The heart of the month of July was the contemporary art exhibition «Gusci d'anime» by Vittorio Zucchelli, a journey through installations and sculptures set up in the castle halls. The calendar alternated nightly themed tours, treasure hunts for children and families, theatrical moments within the walls such as «Teatro tra le mura» and the night tour «Storia e Misteri», up to the astronomical observation evenings of the Night of the Stars. There was also an extraordinary opening for Ferragosto.

Promoted by the Le Colonne Association together with the Municipality of Carovigno, in the Province of Brindisi, the 2025 edition confirmed the castle as one of the main cultural strongholds of the Salento village during the summer season.

August

• «Storia e Misteri» — nightly guided tour;
• «Teatro tra le mura» — theatrical visit;
• «Notte delle Stelle» — astronomical observation;
• Extraordinary opening for Ferragosto;
• Treasure hunt and «I segreti del castello».

September

• New «Notte delle Stelle» to close the festival.
