Edition 2025 — Südtiroler Ritterspiele
2025 Edition
The 18th edition of the Südtiroler Ritterspiele brought over twenty thousand visitors to Sluderno from August 22 to 24, 2025, ranking among the most successful editions in the event's history. On the meadows at the foot of Castel Coira, knightly tournaments, mounted battles, falconry displays, jesters, jugglers, and musical bands followed one another.
Over two thousand people from twelve nations took part in the event, including participants and merchants, with approximately three hundred and fifty stalls in the medieval market and the essential contribution of hundreds of volunteers from local Sluderno associations. Ideal weather and a festive atmosphere accompanied the three days, confirming the Ritterspiele as one of the most important medieval events in the Alpine region and the Vinschgau Valley.
