Edition 2025 — Stuffed Rabbit Festival

The 2025 edition of the Stuffed Rabbit Festival took place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Contrada Pallano, Villalfonsina. The evening began at 7:00 PM with Holy Mass in Piazza San Pio; from 8:30 PM, food stalls offered traditional peasant dishes, starting with stuffed rabbit prepared according to the village's ancient recipes, accompanied by the inevitable sfogliatelle villesi.

The 2025 Stuffed Rabbit Festival was held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Contrada Pallano, a rural hamlet of Villalfonsina, in the province of Chieti. The event renewed a tradition born in 1997 from the initiative of a group of friends and volunteers from the district.

The evening opened at 7:00 PM with the celebration of Holy Mass in Piazza San Pio, a place dear to the inhabitants of the district. Starting from 8:30 PM, the food stalls began serving stuffed rabbit based on ancient recipes passed down through time, with the typical sfogliatelle villesi closing the evening in a festive and convivial atmosphere in the rural heart of Abruzzo.
