Edition 2025 — Potato Festival

In the summer of 2025, the Potato Festival enlivened the village of Strudà, in Vernole, as it does every year. The festival featured the traditional Salento potatoes and peasant cuisine dishes served at food stalls, along with evenings of folk music and pizzica that attracted residents and tourists to the heart of Salento.

The 2025 edition of the Potato Festival took place in July in Strudà, confirming the summer appointment dedicated to the potato and the genuine flavors of Salento. At the food stalls set up in the center of the Vernole village, fried potatoes, baked potatoes, and other specialties of the Puglian rural tradition were served.

The evenings, brought to life by folk music and pizzica, confirmed the festival as one of the most cherished events of the summer in the Vernole area, capable of uniting the local community and welcoming visitors in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
