A day to discover the hidden treasures of Corbetta
The Stroll through the Historic Villas is one of the most beloved cultural events in Corbetta, in the Province of Milan. Organized by Pro Loco Corbetta, the event opens the doors of villas, palaces, and churches in the area for one day, many of which are not usually accessible, offering a guided tour to discover the city's heritage.
The route touches the symbolic places of the city: the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine dei Miracoli, the Church of San Vittore Martire, the Church of San Sebastiano, and numerous historic residences such as Villa Pagani Della Torre and Palazzo Brentano, as well as the Medieval Tower, the Wood Museum, and Parco Ferrario. A journey through eras and styles, accompanied by guided tours, that reveals hidden corners and tells the story of Corbetta.
The stroll traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of May, coinciding with the feast of the patron saint San Vittore (May 8th), linking the discovery of architectural heritage to the city's devotional calendar. An intertwining that gives the day an even deeper meaning, between religious identity and civic pride.
The initiative is an invitation to slow down and look with new eyes at a city often experienced only in passing. Thanks to the commitment of the Pro Loco and volunteers, the Stroll through the Historic Villas enhances Corbetta's cultural heritage, making it accessible to everyone for a day.
The 2026 edition of the Stroll through the Historic Villas will be held, as is tradition, on the first Sunday of May in Corbetta. The Pro Loco will open villas, palaces, and churches in the center to the public, guiding visitors on an itinerary through the city's treasures, coinciding with the feast of the patron saint San Vittore.
The guided itinerary usually includes:
Guided tours from morning to afternoon. The detailed program will be confirmed by the Pro Loco in the weeks prior.
The extraordinary opening of historic residences normally not open to the public.
