About Stroll through the Historic Villas

Once a year, Corbetta opens the doors of its most beautiful residences. The Stroll through the Historic Villas, organized by the Pro Loco, invites citizens and visitors to discover villas, palaces, and churches normally closed to the public, on a guided tour through history, art, and architecture. From the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine dei Miracoli to the Church of San Vittore, from noble residences to the Medieval Tower, it's the perfect opportunity to rediscover the rich heritage of this town on the outskirts of Milan.

Corbetta Opens Its Treasures

The Stroll through the Historic Villas is one of the most beloved cultural events in Corbetta, in the Province of Milan. Organized by Pro Loco Corbetta, the event opens the doors of villas, palaces, and churches in the area for one day, many of which are not usually accessible, offering a guided tour to discover the city's heritage.

An Itinerary Through History and Art

The route touches the symbolic places of the city: the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine dei Miracoli, the Church of San Vittore Martire, the Church of San Sebastiano, and numerous historic residences such as Villa Pagani Della Torre and Palazzo Brentano, as well as the Medieval Tower, the Wood Museum, and Parco Ferrario. A journey through eras and styles, accompanied by guided tours, that reveals hidden corners and tells the story of Corbetta.

In the Name of San Vittore

The stroll traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of May, coinciding with the feast of the patron saint San Vittore (May 8th), linking the discovery of architectural heritage to the city's devotional calendar. An intertwining that gives the day an even deeper meaning, between religious identity and civic pride.

A City to Discover on the Outskirts of Milan

The initiative is an invitation to slow down and look with new eyes at a city often experienced only in passing. Thanks to the commitment of the Pro Loco and volunteers, the Stroll through the Historic Villas enhances Corbetta's cultural heritage, making it accessible to everyone for a day.
