The 2024 debut

The Stratufinese debuted on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Tufino, in the Nola plains in the province of Naples, with a 10-kilometer road race. It was the first step of a project initiated by the Gruppo Sportivo Santa Croce together with the Municipal Administration, with the goal of giving the town a recognizable sporting event and introducing the streets of the hamlets to a regional audience of runners.

The spring formula of the debut would later be revised: the event returned in February 2026, with the 2nd edition dedicated to Valentine's Day and a route adjusted to 9.9 kilometers. The connection between the two editions remains evident in the same core idea: a race that crosses the center of Tufino and its hamlets, open to both competitive athletes and amateurs from Campania.
