Strataranto Mediterranean Half Marathon

The 47th edition of the Strataranto Mediterranean Half Marathon took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Taranto, organized by A.S.D. Podistica Taras. The 21.097 km competitive half marathon, a national FIDAL race on a certified course, started from the Lungomare Rotunda and wound through Piazza Ebalia, Via D'Aquino, the swing bridge, and the entire perimeter of the Old Town, returning towards the Naval Base. It was accompanied by the 8.5 km non-competitive fun run, from Piazza Garibaldi to Piazza Maria Immacolata via the swing bridge and the historical alleys. The event, as per tradition, involved traffic diversions and road closures in the center of Taranto.
