Stramaxima 2025: the 36th edition

The 36th Stramaxima took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM from Piazza Aldo Moro, in the center of Casamassima. The 10-kilometer road race, a FIDAL national event organized by the ASD Amatori Atletica Casamassima, recorded high participation: 688 athletes crossed the finish line, including 128 women, joined by over a hundred participants in the non-competitive walk.

In the men's category, victory went to Luigi Catalano, while Rebecca Volpe (Atletica Locorotondo) dominated the women's race, finishing first in 36:38. The edition was also valid for the 34th "E. Manzari" Trophy and took place during the weekend of the fourth Stuffed Rabbit and Potato Focaccia Festival (September 19-21, 2025), confirming the strong bond between sport, tradition, and gastronomy that characterizes the Casamassima event.
