Edition 2025 — StraCastiglione

The 2025 edition of the StraCastiglione, the second held in memory of Giovanni Sacco, renewed the tradition of the free, non-competitive 6.5 km run along the Castiglione plains and the cycling path. As every year, the event kicked off the Patronal Feast of Castiglione Torinese, drawing runners, families, and walkers for an evening of sport and community spirit.

StraCastiglione 2025

The StraCastiglione 2025, the second Giovanni Sacco Memorial, confirmed the formula beloved by the Castiglione Torinese community: a free, non-competitive, and untimed fun run, open to everyone along the traditional 6.5 km route through the Castiglione plains and the cycling path.

As per tradition, the race launched the Patronal Feast festivities, which were animated in the following days by food and wine stalls, live music, and family activities. At the end of the race, the classic pasta party for athletes and companions was held, preceded by a tribute to Giovanni Sacco before the start.
