Storo Polenta Festival

The tenth edition of the Storo Polenta Festival brought the town's historic centre to life on October 4 and 5, 2025, with the theme "local knowledge and flavours". The festival kicked off on the afternoon of Saturday, October 4, with a guided tour of the town and the technical conference "The future of young people in the countryside", dedicated to the experiences of young producers from the Giudicarie area; at 7:30 PM in Piazza Europa, a welcome dinner featuring polenta and spit-roasted meat was held, accompanied by music from the group I Sonadur di Bagolino.

Sunday, October 5 was the main day: inauguration with the Storo Social Band and the Alpine Accordion Musical Group, tasting of the six polenta varieties in the squares (Carbonera, Macafana, Potato, Turnip, and Molche), the conference "The origins of maize" organised by the Centro Studi Grandi Migrazioni and, in the evening, the awards ceremony for the "SpaventaPasseri in Sagra" and Polenta Festival competitions. The edition confirmed Storo's role as the capital of Trentino yellow cornmeal.
