Edition 2025 — Stelvio Bike Day
The 2025 edition of the Stelvio Bike Day, the 23rd, took place on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Despite the cold temperatures at high altitude, the day saw great participation: 6,772 cyclists tackled the climb to the Stelvio Pass. Of these, 3,750 rode the South Tyrolean side from Prato allo Stelvio, 2,910 the Lombardy side from Bormio, and 112 the Swiss side of the Umbrail Pass.
As per tradition, the road to the 2,758-meter summit was closed to motorized traffic and reserved entirely for bicycles. The non-competitive and free event once again confirmed the charm of one of the most iconic passes in the Alps, in the Stelvio National Park, in the province of Bolzano.
