Edition 2025 — Vipiteno Christmas Market
From November 27, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the historic center of Vipiteno, in the province of Bolzano, hosted the Sterzinger Glockenweihnacht, the "Christmas of the Bells." In the town square, beneath the Twelve Tower and its 25-bell carillon, the wooden stalls offered Tyrolean crafts, typical South Tyrolean products—Zelten, Stollen, Spitzbuam—and mulled wine.
The calendar alternated between recurring events and special evenings: the daily carillon, weekend Christmas carols in the square, guided tours of the village, and evening torchlight processions. Among the most anticipated moments were the Saint Nicholas procession with the Krampus on December 5th, concerts by alpine choirs and bands, parades of little angels with the lighting of Advent candles, and the New Year's concert. In 2025, the market once again confirmed its Green Event certification and its membership in the circuit of the five Original Christmas Markets of South Tyrol.
