SS. Crocifisso Festival

The 2025 edition program

The 2025 SS. Crocifisso Festival opened on April 30th with the preparatory triduum, followed by evening Eucharistic celebrations on May 1st and 2nd at the SS. Crocifisso chapel.

On Saturday, May 3rd, the main day, holy masses were held at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM in the chapel; at 11:00 AM, the transfer of the sacred image to the Church of SS. Apostoli Pietro e Paolo took place. In the evening, after the 6:30 PM mass, the solemn procession at 7:30 PM traversed the town streets, accompanied by the "G. Verdi" Grand Concert Band Association of Taurisano.

The highlight of the secular festivities was the 9:00 PM concert featuring the duo Audio 2 — known for their tribute to the songwriting style of Lucio Battisti — and Neapolitan percussionist Tony Esposito. Afterward, the "So What" area hosted street food, craft beer, and a DJ set by Manuele Arghirò, amidst light displays and fireworks.
