SS. Crocifisso Festival (Patronal Feast)

The 2025 edition of the SS. Crocifisso Festival in Roccapalumba (PA) was celebrated according to the usual tradition around August 13th, in the heart of the Sicani Mountains summer. The festivities opened on August 11th with the Night of the Artists, featuring jugglers, fire shows, and street art.

On August 13th, the day of the patronal feast, the alborata took place in Contrada Cannoli, followed by the brass band performance, Eucharistic celebrations in the Mother Church, and the solemn procession of the SS. Crocifisso statue in the fine wooden canopy. In the evening, the village hosted a concert by the group I Collage, one of the protagonists of Italian light music, followed by the traditional fireworks display that closed the festivities.
