The origins of Spring Festival

Spring Festival is part of the calendar of events with which Santa Margherita di Belìce, in the province of Agrigento, brings its historic center to life throughout the year. The town, famous as the City of the Leopard for its connection to Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa and the Palazzo Filangeri di Cutò, chose the spring equinox as an opportunity to bring the community together around local culture, traditions, and flavors.

The initiative highlights iconic locations such as Villa Gattopardo and the town center of Via Libertà, offering a journey through the history, nature, and gastronomy of the Terre Sicane. The format, which combines cultural walks, social gatherings, and family entertainment, has laid the foundation for an event destined to be renewed in the coming years within the spring calendar of the Belìce Valley.
