The Great Fair of Origgio
The Spring Fair of Livestock and Goods of April 25th is the symbolic event of Origgio, a municipality in the province of Varese. Born as an agricultural and livestock fair, it has surpassed its seventieth edition, keeping its farming soul alive while enriching itself over the years with engines, shows, and music, becoming a widespread event lasting ten days, from April 24th to May 3rd.
The Fair Area in Via Marconi
The heart of the event is the Fair Area in Via Marconi, which for the occasion is filled with over five hundred stalls, food stands, exhibitions, and show areas. The central moment traditionally remains April 25th, when the square becomes a large open-air market and features breakfasts, farm animal exhibitions, and educational workshops on agricultural products for children.
Horses, Trucks, and Engines
An important part of the program is dedicated to the equestrian world, with Western exhibitions and competitions — barrel racing, pole bending, Western gymkhana — and to the world of engines: the American truck rally, motorcycle exhibitions, the American car rally, and vintage cars. A mix that attracts enthusiasts from all over the Saronno area.
Color Run, Street Food, and Concerts
The fair is also a celebration: the street food area with food trucks, the color run through the town streets with the final color party, and a rich evening music program ranging from tributes to Italian music greats — from Vasco Rossi to 883 — to 80s and 90s DJ sets. Supported by the Lombardy Region and organized by the Municipality of Origgio, the April 25th Fair is the event that brings the entire community and visitors from neighboring towns together every spring.

Among equestrian and Western exhibitions, American truck and vintage car rallies, the color run with a color party, and a rich program of evening concerts and tributes, the fair animates the entire community and the towns of the Saronno area.

How to get there
Origgio is located in the province of Varese, in the Saronno area, near the Origgio-Uboldo exit of the A9 Milan-Como highway. By train, the reference station is Saronno, well-connected to Milan. The Fair Area is in Via Marconi.
