Edition 2025 — Sports Festival + Veglie in Mood

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Veglie experienced a day dedicated to sports and social life. From 6:00 PM, the Sports Festival brought together about 300 athletes in numerous disciplines; in the evening, from 9:30 PM, Veglie in Mood enlivened the Market Area with music, street food, and drinks, closing the day with entertainment and fun.

Sports Festival + Veglie in Mood 2025

The 2025 edition was held on Saturday, June 14, in Veglie, in the Province of Lecce. The Sports Festival, starting at 6:00 PM, brought about 300 athletes to the square across a wide range of disciplines: taekwondo, judo, muay thai, volleyball, 5-a-side soccer, dance, basketball, archery, mountain biking, rhythmic gymnastics, and motocross.

From 9:30 PM, it was time for Veglie in Mood in the Market Area, featuring entertainment, good food, and drinks. On stage, the Ciccio Riccio Summer Tour 2025 and the NineBeat, a live performance entirely dedicated to 70s, 80s, and 90s music. The gastronomic offer was rich, with over 7 street food stations including grilled meats, crepes, waffles, fresh draft beer, and refreshing drinks. An event by Pro Loco Veglie with the patronage of the Municipality.

Programme

From 6:00 PM – Sports Festival: exhibitions by about 300 athletes (taekwondo, judo, muay thai, volleyball, 5-a-side soccer, dance, basketball, archery, mountain biking, rhythmic gymnastics, motocross). From 9:30 PM – Veglie in Mood (Market Area): Ciccio Riccio Summer Tour 2025 and NineBeat, live 70s/80s/90s music; over 7 street food stations, draft beer, and drinks.
