Sport Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sport Festival in Vignola marked the culmination of the fourth Sport and Wellness Week, held from September 1 to 7. The heart of the event took place on the weekend of September 6 and 7 at the Olimpia Swimming Centre and adjacent sports areas.

Saturday, September 6, kicked off with the youth football tournament "Castelli Cup", the presentation of teams for the 2025-26 season, and in the evening, performances by Vignola's dance and martial arts schools, accompanied by food stalls. Sunday, September 7, was the big day open to all: a walk of about 10 km, basketball, football, and chess tournaments, open classes, zumba and dance exhibitions, athlete awards, a closing dance show with international dance champions, and a torchlight procession in the Olympic pool. The sport passport with gadgets for the first 600 participants who completed it was also available.

Saturday, September 6, 2025

• From 2:00 PM — "Castelli Cup" youth football tournament (Academy Terre di Castelli), football field in the sports area.
• 7:00 PM — Presentation of teams for the 2025-26 season.
• From 8:00 PM — Stage area: evening with Vignola's dance schools (Antratto Studio, Coreutica Academy Dance, Gruppo Ballo Folcloristico Olimpia Vignola).
• From 8:00 PM — Martial arts area: Ki-Oshi ASD exhibition.
• In the evening — Food stalls open.

Sunday, September 7, 2025

• 8:15 AM — Meet at the Swimming Centre car park for a walk of about 10 km (Ass. Alpinistica La Montagna with MuoviVI, Camminando in Compagnia, Scorribanda, Pubblica Assistenza Vignola).
• 10:00 AM — Opening of information points and activity spaces; free entry to the Swimming Centre pools for free aquatic activities (swimming cap required).
• From 10:00 AM — "Memorial Gioco per Friz" basketball tournament (Scuola Pallacanestro Vignola) and "Castelli Cup" football tournament.
• From 2:30 PM — Chess tournament in the park's cinema area (Gruppo Scacchi Vignola - Club 64 Scacchi Modena).
• 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM — Open classes and workshops (Coreutica Academy), stage area.
• 4:30 PM — Zumba exhibition (Ki-Oshi), stage area.
• 5:30 PM — Individual athlete awards, stage area.
• 7:00 PM — Closing dance show with international dance champions (A.S.D. Dynamic Dance).
• 8:30 PM — Closing torchlight procession in the Olympic pool (Olimpia Vignola).
