Seven days of sport throughout the city
Sport Expo Week is the major sports week in Verona, organized by UISP Verona together with the Municipality. In 2026, it reaches its 20th edition, transforming the city into a widespread laboratory dedicated to sport, education, and social interaction, involving thousands of young people and their families.
Three ways to experience sport
The event is structured on multiple fronts. Sport in the Piazza: Piazza XXV Aprile and Piazza Cittadella become thematic villages with school activities in the morning and free exhibitions and lessons in the afternoon. Playground in the Neighborhoods: city parks host recreational activities, bringing sport closer to home. Weekend at Veronafiere: during the final days, the exhibition center halls welcome young people and families with dozens of disciplines to try for free.
Sport, play, and inclusion
The event is designed for children and young people aged 3 to 20 and focuses on inclusion: from the inclusive basketball of the SPIN project to men's, women's, and mixed football tournaments, up to cheerleading performances. Among the new features, the PassaSport Adigeo allows younger children to collect a stamp for each discipline tried, turning sport into a game. For Verona, it is an event that combines the promotion of well-being and community life.
Sport Expo Week — edition 2026
From March 9th to 15th, 2026, Verona celebrated the 20th edition of Sport Expo Week, involving over 40,000 participants. The sports villages in Piazza XXV Aprile and Piazza Cittadella, the activities in the neighborhood parks, and the final weekend at Veronafiere halls 9 and 10 brought the city to life with dozens of free disciplines for children and young people.

How to get there
The central squares (Piazza XXV Aprile, Piazza Cittadella) are reachable on foot from Verona Porta Nuova station and by ATV bus lines. Veronafiere is located south of the city, well-connected to the station and the motorway network.
Admission
Activities and lessons are free. Program and school registrations via UISP Verona.
