Sport and Volunteering Festival

The first edition of the Sport and Volunteering Festival brought Montelupo Fiorentino to life on Sunday, September 14, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM in Piazza dell'Unione Europea. The initiative, born from the collaboration between ASPD Montelupo and USC Montelupo, was designed to promote local associations and offer citizens and families an opportunity for meeting, sharing, and active participation.

Over twenty sports organizations were present in the square—including volleyball, gymnastics, soccer, rugby, dance, martial arts, equestrian sports, triathlon, padel, running, boxing, dodgeball, and tchoukball—with demonstrations and trials open to everyone. Alongside them, local volunteering associations participated, such as Auser Montelupo, the Misericordia of Montelupo Fiorentino, the Pubblica Assistenza Montelupo, and La Racchetta – Sezione Montelupo, which illustrated the services they offer to the community every day.
