Edition 2025 — Spoltore Photo Festival

The second edition of the Spoltore Naturalistic and Humanistic Photography Festival took place on July 25 and 26, 2025, in Piazza D'Albenzio, Spoltore. Curated by Carlo D'Aurizio and Federico De Nicola and hosted by journalist Alessandra Renzetti, the event combined exhibitions, projections, and debates on biodiversity, also hosting the 24th La Genziana National Photography Competition with 172 participants.

The second edition of the Spoltore Naturalistic and Humanistic Photography Festival was held on July 25 and 26, 2025, in Piazza D'Albenzio, in the center of Spoltore. The event, curated by Carlo D'Aurizio and Federico De Nicola and hosted by journalist Alessandra Renzetti, was promoted by the Municipal Administration together with Spoltore City of Photography and the Spoltore Pro Loco.

The first evening opened with the inauguration of the 24th La Genziana National Photography Competition exhibition, which gathered 172 participants, followed by talks on neuroaesthetics and nature photography, protected areas, and sustainability, as well as video projections by Carlo D'Aurizio and Marino Baroncini. The second evening featured award-winning nature photographer Pierluigi Rizzato, with the participation of geographers, nature reserve experts, and publishers.

An edition rich in content that confirmed Spoltore as a reference point for nature photography in Abruzzo.
