Sparkles — Milano Film Fest at the Garden of Cultures

The Milano Film Fest took shape as a film festival for the city of Milan with a strong distributed and popular vocation. Even in its initial phase, the festival offered open-air and free screenings, with the idea that cinema can become a tool for meeting and community in the neighborhoods.

Green and civic spaces like the Garden of Cultures, in Municipality 4, represent the ideal type of location for these evenings: an open-air courtyard where neighborhood residents gather in front of the screen. The experience laid the groundwork for the Sparkles program of the 2026 edition.
