Spaccature 2025 — digging through the rubble

The third edition of Spaccature was held in Civita di Bagnoregio (Municipality of Bagnoregio, province of Viterbo) from July 28 to 31, 2025. The edition proposed the image of an art that digs through the rubble of the present to bring "forgotten petals" back to the surface, contrasting the logic of power and destruction with utopias, alternative perspectives, and bodies that resist.

The program, entirely free, brought together four young companies chosen for their expressive urgency and original view of the present, with theater and performance shows, participatory workshops, and round tables between artists, scholars, and activists. The performances spread into the most unexpected places in the village, from former washhouses to disused warehouses, from squares to the historic corners of the "dying city," confirming the vocation of the Lazio Tuscia festival for a theater rooted in the territory.
