Edition 2025 — Terravecchia

The 38th edition of Sounds, Flavors and Colors of Terravecchia took place from September 19 to 28, 2025, in Pietramontecorvino, in the Monti Dauni. The highlight of the medieval re-enactment was concentrated on the weekend of September 26, 27, and 28, with the Grand Historical Pageant and the re-enactment of the settlement of Jean Britaud. For ten days, the village of Terravecchia returned to the Middle Ages, with the euro 'abolished' in favor of denari along the food and wine trail.

Thirty-eighth edition, from September 19 to 28, 2025

The XXXVIII edition of Sounds, Flavors and Colors of Terravecchia was held in Pietramontecorvino (FG) from September 19 to 28, 2025, with the culmination on the weekend of September 26, 27, and 28 dedicated to the historical re-enactment.

On Saturday, September 27, after the morning guided tours, the Grand Historical Pageant took place from 6:00 PM along Corso Aldo Moro, followed by the spectacular re-enactment of the settlement of Jean Britaud in Piazza Cavour, featuring flag-wavers, musicians, and dozens of performers in medieval costumes. Along the alleys of the village, to enjoy the dishes of the food and wine trail, the euro was symbolically 'abolished' in favor of denari, the medieval currency exchanged at dedicated booths.

The program included fire shows, street artists, demonstrations of ancient crafts, and exhibitions, as well as significant cultural moments such as the lectio magistralis by medievalist Simonetta Cerrini dedicated to the Templars in Daunia. For ten days, Pietramontecorvino confirmed itself as one of the capitals of Italy's medieval villages.
