Edition 2025 — Sonic Town

The ninth edition of Sonic Town, titled "Dense Music," was held at the Ex Macello in Putignano with three free-entry evenings on June 19, July 3, and July 17, 2025. The theme explored music as a physical, emotional, and collective perception, beyond passive listening, featuring live acts, DJ sets, and discussion sessions curated by Radio JP.

The 2025 edition of Sonic Town, the ninth, brought the theme of Dense Music to the Ex Macello in Putignano: an immersive sound experience designed to transform listening into a shared perception. The three evenings, with free entry and starting at 8:30 PM, alternated between live concerts, DJ sets, and radio formats.

The opening night on June 19 featured Tare, an hard-jazz band formed in 2019 that blends groove and experimentation, and the release party for the "Bar Apollo" EP by Alessandro Fiore, alongside the "Talkin Heads" radio show and a DJ set by the Radio JP Soundsystem. The graphic design for the edition was signed by artist Crissi Campanale, confirming the festival's focus on the dialogue between music and visual arts in the heart of Puglia.
