Soliera Fair

The 2025 edition of the Fiera di Soliera, in the province of Modena, re-proposed the usual blend of markets, food, culture, and religious celebrations around June 24th, the day of San Giovanni Battista. For four days, the historic center was filled with stalls, a funfair, vintage market, and exhibitions, while Piazza Lusvardi served as the stage for free admission concerts and shows.

There were no shortage of food stands offering the symbolic dishes of Emilian tradition, from gnocco fritto to tortellone, and religious celebrations in the church for the patron saint, including the solemn mass and the distribution of blessed bread. The Fair confirmed its role as an identity-defining event for the community of Soliera and for all of Emilia-Romagna.
